Phillip Chong joined Asian Land Realty on 8th October 2007.
He is a Fellow member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and a Fellow member of the Association of International Accountants. UK (FAIA). He obtained his Diploma in Estate Agency in February 2007 and certificate to practice in March 2011 registered with the Board of Valuer, Appraisals and Estate Agents.
He has been working in the real estate industry for the past 9 years. During this period, he handled sales of residential, commercial properties, land and industrial properties. At the same time, he is constantly working closely with the developers.
Prior to this, he held various senior managerial positions in finance, marketing and marine department of reputable insurers such as Multi-Purpose Insurance Berhad, MUI Continental Insurance Berhad and AIG General Insurance (Malaysia) Berhad (a member of AIG Group). During his working career, he was actively involved in the accounting profession and this has given him the extra edge of looking at things in a broader perspective. He has vast experience in corporate planning, statutory procedures, investment and legal matters.
